We would like to wish Stuart (pictured right) all the best in the year ahead! He will no doubt be a fantastic representative and inspirational spokesman for our community at the events he plans to attend throughout 2025. If you see Stuart out and about, do say hello!

This year, we’ve decided to switch things up by removing the traditional ‘talent’ section. In the past, we know this part of the program may have discouraged some people from entering, and we don’t want anyone to feel put off from taking part. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that’s relaxed, welcoming, and full of fun.

Instead of polished performances, you can look forward to lighthearted moments and a few silly surprises along the way. It’s all about enjoying the experience together rather than showcasing specific skills.

So, if the ‘talent’ section has ever held you back, consider this your invitation to get involved. With 2026 on the horizon, now is the perfect time to think about entering!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re after someone who’s outgoing, friendly, and enjoys meeting new people. If you’re the type who likes showing off your gear, making others feel welcome, and being part of a fun, relaxed community, you’ll fit right in.

It doesn’t matter if your thing is tracksuits, footie kits, MX gear, Lycra, sneakers—or all of the above. What matters most is that you’re happy to represent the sportswear scene where you live and share that passion with others.

All sportswear guys are welcome—so if this sounds like you, come and get involved!

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF THE WINNER?

We like to keep things relaxed. As Mr Sportswear, the main expectation is simply to represent the scene in your local area. While it would be great if you’re up for travelling around the UK—and even internationally—that’s completely optional, not a requirement.

What really matters is that you feel comfortable in your gear, enjoy chatting with people, and are happy to be a visible part of the community.

Entrants should also be okay with having their photo taken, as the sash tends to attract a bit of attention (and a few cameras!).

The countdown is on! Once all entries are in, we’ll review them carefully and let the successful candidates know by email on 1st November. If your name’s on that list, get ready—you’ll be stepping into the spotlight for the final live round on Saturday, November 15th!

This is your chance to represent, connect, and show off your love for sportswear on a bigger stage. Who knows, you could be the next Mr Sportswear!
